Trinidad – Cuba – Lunch break
Trinidad, Cuba. Declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1988 is one-of-a-kind and perfectly preserved colonial city. It’s colorful and enchanted streets hold a special feeling that bring you back to the 1850’s when the clock stopped clicking. It’s people, little hidden alleys with tungsten lights at night and so lively during the day, bikes peacefully strolling, the smell of cigars, the sound of the horses hooves and the children running and singing playfully have come with me since I visited. These are two workers at a restaurant taking a break, but again, they know how to take it easy and love life there, so breaks are no strangers to their days.
